In chapters 1-7 it talked about what happened in the 3 boys life, Ty'ree the oldest Charlie the middle child and Lafayette the youngest. The first chapter talks about how both there parents died.. lafayette is away have dreams about his mom so Ty'ree takes him to a psychologist. After a few moths he was better but Charlie dint deal with it well. he burned every picture but 2 that Laf has of him mom. Charlie i a trouble child he is on prarol and when to raway a teenager stear strait program. ener sece he has when there he has been a very bad person he hates him brother Laf. he blams him for killing his mom whitch laf did not. one night he gos to what he thinks is a party but it is not!! in the middle of the night the polic call about charlie to find out what happens read the book!

At first this book was totally boring in chapter 1-7 all it is about how the 3 boy's dad and mother has died, and that the middle brother Charlie when to away for holding up a candy store. It starts to get interesting when Charlie gos to what he thinks is a party yet is not a party at all. So Ty'ree gets a phone call late at night from the police about Charlie to find out what happens READ THE BOOK!!
