In the book my group read witch was Miracle's Boys. It was okay but I thaught that it was a little boring at times but then started up with some action again. If you are looking for a short good read, that is sort of a guy book, this is the one for you. First thing you learn is that there are 3 brothers and that their parents have died. Lafayette who is the youngest child, Charlie the middle child, and Tyree the oldest. Tyree takes care of them, Charlie gets in trouble every once in a while, and Lafayette can not get over what happened to his mom and dad. To see what happens read the book Miracle`s Boys

Laffyette is a 12 year old boy in seventh grade. His father died after he tried to save someone and there dog from a river, but he died from hypothermia. Also his mother had just died when she forgot to take her pills for her diabetes. He brother had just come back from jail and is even meaner now. Now if Charlie goes to jail the brother are going to have to split up forever. Then Charlie gets into more trouble will he go to prison? I think this book was okay. It stared out very slow, because they are telling you that how their parents died over and over again. At about chapter 11 the book stares to get more interesting. That when Charlie starts to do stuff he should not do. I think this book is trying to say is that everyone makes mistakes.

At first this book was totally boring in chapter 1-7 all it is about how the 3 boy's dad and mother has died, and that the middle brother Charlie when to away for holding up a candy store. It starts to get interesting when Charlie gos to what he thinks is a party yet is not a party at all. So Ty'ree gets a phone call late at night from the police about Charlie to find out what happens READ THE BOOK!!

I thought that this book was not very interesting because the author did not put a lot of detail in the three brothers life. The story just described the life of three brothers and did not really talk about the specific things I wanted to hear. It is mostly about the struggles and the tough times the three brothers Ty'ree, Charlie, and Lafayette. had when they died. Although throughout this book some of the parts at the end of the book was pretty interesting. You should read this book.
